Heavy rains held the crowd to about 40 people but Will Wingate and his family hosted a very good Beefmaster Field Day on May 15, 2010. Three herd sires were on display, a noon meal, drinks and speakers highlighted the days events. Hudson Livestock had a speaker, Lorenzo Lasater, Tommy Perkins and Laurie Lasater each gave presentations with questions following each presentation. The crowd was a mixture of Purebred Beefmaster breeders and commercial cattlemen. We were privileged to have Dalton and Diane Lowery drive down from Houston via Fallon, Nevada to attend as well.
